Trades - Apprenticeship in Plumber Apprenticeship

The Plumber Apprenticeship delivers the in-school component of the plumbing apprenticeship in Canadore's trade labs at the Commerce Court Campus. Delivered in a day-release format, the program lets apprentices continue working in the trade while attending in-school training one day per week. Coursework covers Ontario Building Code requirements alongside the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. The program runs across three levels; each level is one day per week for 40 weeks, totalling 240 hours of in-school instruction. Successful completion of all three levels makes graduates eligible to challenge the Ontario Certificate of Qualification exam for the plumbing trade. New intakes are accepted monthly. Enrolment requires an active registration as a signed apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario before applying to the program.
