The Master of Science in Management, offered through the Sprott School of Business, focuses on applied research into complex management problems in a rapidly changing, globally oriented business environment, combining theoretical and practical approaches. Research areas span accounting, finance, information systems, international business, marketing, organizational behaviour, production and operations, and strategic management, and students work closely with faculty on research projects in these fields. The program is delivered in person and normally takes two years of full-time study to complete, structured as six terms for the thesis pathway or ten courses for non-thesis pathways. Admission is offered for the Fall term only. Graduates are prepared for research-oriented careers in business and management, doctoral study, or advanced analytical roles in industry, building on the applied-research focus of the program.
