Tremplin DEC is a transitional pathway at Cégep André-Laurendeau rather than a diploma program in itself; it lets new CEGEP students begin college-level coursework while they decide on a program of study. Admission Requirements: Prerequisites (préalables), exactly as published on the program's own page: DES (Diplôme d'études secondaires). Depending on the profile and target program a student is preparing for, specific Secondary 4/5 courses may also be required, such as Mathématiques TS 4e (CST4 or Math416 already passed), Sciences et technologie STE 4e (SCT4 or ATS4 already passed), Mathématiques TS 5e (TS/SN4 or Math436), Chimie 5e, or Physique 5e. No minimum grade, interview, portfolio, or language test beyond the general Quebec-college process is stated on the program page. Admission follows the college's general process: apply online through the Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM) at admission.sram.qc.ca, which handles admission for every Montreal-area Cégep, with the college making the final decision. International applicants also use SRAM: the Fall 2027 deadline is 14 March 2027; the Winter 2027 international window already closed 31 May 2026, so the live one is Winter 2028 entry, closing 31 May 2027. Only a handful of technical programmes (Soins infirmiers, Techniques d'éducation à l'enfance, Techniques de travail social, Gestion des opérations et de la chaîne logistique, and one more) admit international students. Admission is not rolling beyond SRAM's rounds. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
