Overview
This Double DEC combines the pre-university Sciences de la nature program with the pre-university Sciences humaines program, allowing students to earn both diplomas in three years at Cégep de Drummondville rather than choosing one path over the other. The science side is built on mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology and typically leads toward university science, health or engineering studies. The social-science side covers subjects such as psychology, economics, history and geography, the usual preparation for university programs in the humanities, social sciences, law or business. Running the two curricula together lengthens the program by a year compared with a single pre-university DEC, and admission depends on meeting the entrance requirements of both individual programs. On completion, students are awarded two separate Diplômes d'études collégiales rather than one combined credential. The program is intended for students who want to keep both an analytical-science and a social-science or humanities direction open going into university, and who are prepared for the additional coursework that comes with following two full programs at once.

Admission Requirements: This Double DEC's own page states three admission conditions: meet Cegep de Drummondville's general college admission conditions, present a school record with a grade above 70% in Secondary 5 French, and meet the particular requirements of the two chosen programmes. Sciences de la nature's own page requires Mathematics Technico-sciences or Sciences naturelles from Secondary 5 (or Mathematics 536), Chemistry from Secondary 5 (or Chemistry 534), and Physics from Secondary 5 (or Physics 534); it is non contingente. Sciences humaines's own page requires, for its general profile, Mathematics CST from Secondary 4 (or Mathematics 416), or for its mathematics-heavy profile, Mathematics TS/SN from Secondary 5 (or Mathematics 526); it too is non contingente. No language test score beyond the French grade above is published. Intake is in the Fall term.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through the Service régional d'admission du Montréal métropolitain (SRAM): for Fall 2027 entry, round one closes 1 March 2027, round two 22 April 2027, and round three 27 May 2027; Winter 2027 entry is already open, with round one closing 1 November 2026 and round two closing 25-26 November 2026 (late admission runs to 12 January 2027). International applicants follow a separate SRAM timeline: Fall 2027 applications run from 15 March 2026 to 14 March 2027, and Winter 2028 applications run from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2027 (Winter 2027 international applications are already closed). Admission is not open-ended rolling, but SRAM runs successive rounds for as long as places remain, and international intake can close early without notice. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
