Diploma in Natural Resource Compliance

The Natural Resource Compliance diploma trains students to detect and investigate natural resource violations through coursework, labs and field trips covering land, water, forests and cultural resources. Over two years and 60 credits, students complete roughly three weeks of dedicated field work each semester and gain access to the Hubbard Collection, one of the largest collections of full-body taxidermy mammals in Canada. Graduates can enter the workforce directly or continue into Lethbridge Polytechnic's Conservation Enforcement Bachelor of Applied Science degree. The programme is delivered face-to-face on the main Lethbridge Polytechnic campus, with a September intake. It is open to both domestic and international students, with admission assessed on combined average grades in the required prerequisite courses.
