Overview
This program (Techniques d'administration et de gestion, Business Management profile) trains students to manage business projects and operations, covering project management, event organization, client-facing communication, and sales consulting, plus human-resource management tasks such as recruiting, training, compensating, and supervising staff, and integrating marketing strategy. It is delivered in a laptop-based ('DEC portable') format that requires students to supply their own Windows laptop meeting the college's technical specifications. The three-year Diploma of College Studies (DEC) includes a paid work-study (alternance travail-études) option. Graduates are prepared to manage or launch a business, take on leadership roles within an organization, or continue to university studies in business administration or management.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Applicants need a DES, a DEP, training judged equivalent by the cégep, or at least 24 cumulative months of interrupted full-time study with sufficient training and experience. DEP holders must also have passed Secondary 5 language of instruction, Secondary 5 second language, and Secondary 4 mathematics. The program itself has no additional specific prerequisites. Students must supply their own laptop meeting the college's technical requirements (Windows 11, Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, 16 or 32 GB RAM).
