Electronics Engineering Technology is a diploma program offered by the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) that develops the knowledge and skills needed to maintain electronic systems, computer systems, and telecommunications networks. Students work with the systems and components used to transmit information across networks, satellites, antennas, data highways, telephone-based data transmission, cable distribution, and fibre optics, with coursework covering electronic and electrical circuits, structured programming for microcontrollers, digital communication, operating systems, home-automation systems, and applied mathematics for electronics, alongside English-language courses at the A2 and B1.1 levels. The program includes an information-technology workplace stage in electrical engineering and two electronics-project courses that bring the technical skills together. The 74-week program is offered at the Bathurst campus and leads to a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, preparing graduates for roles as electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians.
