Overview
The Diploma in Worship Arts equips students with theological, pastoral, and artistic skills for leading Bible-centered, transformational worship in a local church setting. The program is aimed at musically gifted students and covers worship leadership alongside pastoral and theological foundations. Students take part in on-campus worship teams and chapel services as part of their formation, and complete an internship in their third or fourth year, with placements available on campus, in local churches, with arts organizations, or overseas. The diploma can ladder into Columbia's Bachelor of Arts in Practical Theology, Church Ministry major, where students may add a 15-credit Worship Arts concentration to pursue a worship pastor pathway. The program combines musical and artistic training with pastoral leadership preparation for church worship ministry.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must be at least 17 years old, a Christian who demonstrates a willingness to grow in discipleship, and willing to agree to Columbia's Student Community Commitments. Applicants must hold a Canadian or US high school diploma with a minimum 60% average across their top five grade 11-12 classes, three of which must be academic courses, and must demonstrate the potential for academic and community success at Columbia. The application requires an online form, transcripts, two non-family references, and a $50 application fee.
