Overview
This Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, offered through Concordia's Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science, covers five core fields: international politics, comparative politics, Canadian and Quebec politics, public policy and administration, and political theory. Students choose an Honours option (60 credits) with added emphasis on research methodology, a Major (42 credits) giving comprehensive training across the main fields, a Minor (24 credits), or a Minor in Human Rights Studies (24 credits). An integrated path lets undergraduates count up to nine credits toward both the BA and a Master of Arts. Full-time study takes a minimum of three to four years (90-120 credits), depending on the student's academic background, with classes held on the Sir George Williams campus and admission in the Fall or Winter term.
