Overview

Using curriculum consistent with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®), graduates acquire an understanding of the functions, impact and benefits of this important role. Learners gain critical insight into how business analysts support projects at every stage — from building a business case and defining scope and requirements to managing change, communicating with stakeholders and ensuring requirements are met during testing. This online program is designed for business analysts, project managers, operations managers, systems analysts, quality assurance analysts, marketing professionals and anyone whose role involves defining, analyzing or solving business problems.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature-student status at 19 years of age or older. Conestoga's continuing-education admission note states only that students must be able to receive instruction, respond, and research in the English language; no standardized test or minimum score is published on this specific programme page. Applications are submitted through Ontario Colleges (ontariocolleges.ca), and final selection is made following an assessment against the stated admission criteria. Applicants who are unable to meet the English-language expectation, or whose OSSD-equivalent standing is unclear, are directed by Conestoga to its Academic Upgrading and English Language Studies pathways rather than to a fixed institution-wide test-score table, since the college publishes no single domestic score table and instead assesses each application individually.

Application Details

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca (college code CONS): for the Fall 2027 intake the online application opens 26 September 2026, the equal consideration date is 1 February 2027, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and accepted offers must be confirmed by 1 May 2027; most oversubscribed programs stop accepting applications after 1 February 2027, though many programs remain open afterward. Conestoga does not publish a separate equal-consideration date for its January intake. International applicants apply directly to Conestoga and are assessed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis until each program fills; no fixed international closing date is published. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
