Diploma in Broadcast - Radio

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature-student status at 19 years of age or older, plus Grade 12 compulsory English at a C (70%) or U (60%) level, or equivalent, or Conestoga's Preparatory Communications (COMM1251). Academic strength is calculated by averaging marks in the required subjects, with bonus points added for advanced-level courses. Applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must demonstrate English language proficiency; the programme page names no score of its own, so Conestoga's published diploma-level minimum applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with no skill below 20, PTE Academic 53, or Duolingo 110. Conestoga notes that a sound English background is considered during selection and that minimum cutoffs apply, and that applicants with credentials from outside Canada may need a course-by-course credential evaluation.
