Arts, lettres et communication - Profil Communication et médias is a pre-university DEC option at Collège de Rosemont exploring journalism and reporting, radio and podcasting, television, web content creation, public relations, event planning, and advertising across traditional and digital media. Learning is practice-based from the first session: students complete placements (stages) in the field, can join the program's own Communication et médias agency to build portfolio experience, visit cultural venues, meet industry professionals, and coordinate real events such as launches, press conferences, or cultural activities from planning through promotion and delivery. Courses use a multifunctional lab classroom that converts into a newsroom, event or press-conference space, editing studio, television set, radio studio, or standard classroom as needed. Students organize the program's own showcase event, Soirée Balado, presenting podcasts produced by students across several programs; more than 80 podcasts were produced and presented at the 2025-2026 edition.
