Diploma in International Business Studies

International Business Studies is a two-year pre-university profile leading to a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Social Science at Dawson College. The program grounds the study of social sciences in business and globalization and includes the mathematics courses required for university-level business study. Students cover the core Social Science curriculum of psychology, sociology, and research methods alongside coursework oriented toward business administration, accounting, marketing, management, international relations, development, economics, industrial relations, and communications. The profile is intended for students planning to continue into related undergraduate programs at university. Graduates receive Profile 300.GH of the DEC in Social Science and are prepared for direct entry into business-related degree programs. The program is delivered over four academic semesters of full-time study at Dawson College's Westmount, Montreal campus.
