Overview
Commerce international is an AEC continuing-education program at Cegep Marie-Victorin covering international market research, market-entry strategy, logistics planning, and the legal, payment and financing mechanics of cross-border trade. It is delivered fully online over four sessions totalling roughly seventeen months (1,380 hours) and includes a workplace internship. The college states it is the only public cegep in the greater Montreal area offering this program, with teaching adapted to adult learners. Admission requires training judged sufficient by the college together with one of the standard AEC eligibility conditions: an interruption of full-time study or full-time post-secondary study for at least two consecutive sessions or one school year; an agreement between the college and an employer, or coverage under a government programme; an interruption of one session followed by one session of post-secondary study; or holding a Diplome d'etudes professionnelles. Candidates must pass the college's pre-selection tests in French and in English at beginner level. The next intake begins in October 2026.
