Overview
The Information and Communication Technology Post-Degree Diploma is designed for those who already have your bachelor’s degree and are looking to pick up the technical skills for a career in IT. You’ll be introduced to a number of concepts in IT, including programming, systems analysis, project management and more. You'll learn the technical concepts needed for success in this field and have the opportunity to further explore topics with five elective information technology courses.
You can gain a better understanding of hardware maintenance and advanced computer applications, and graduate with job-ready skills. You’ll get to learn and use communication and information technology tools such as HTML, CSS, C#, JavaScript, Ajax and more. You'll also have the option to participate in the Career Boost program.

Admission Requirements: This Post-Degree Diploma applies the College's General College Admission Requirements: applicants must hold an undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada, or an equivalent credential from an approved institution in another country. Any applicant whose credential was earned in a language other than English must separately meet the Douglas College English Language Proficiency requirement, met by, among other options, an IELTS Academic overall score of 6.5 or a TOEFL iBT overall score of 83. No minimum GPA, interview, or portfolio is stated on the programme page; the programme runs Fall, Winter and Summer intakes.
