Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Analysis – Information Technology (D.E.S.S. en analyse d'affaires – technologies de l'information) is a 30-credit, second-cycle program at HEC Montréal that examines business analysis and its role in the digital transformation of organizations, covering planning, control and governance mechanisms as well as the design, implementation and management of digital business solutions. The program prepares students for the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification and the SAP TERP10 certification, offered by HEC Montréal in partnership with SAP. Courses are delivered in hybrid format at the Côte-des-Neiges campus, alternating weeks of remote and in-person instruction, on a full-time or part-time basis during the day, evening or weekend. Graduates are often hired by web-focused agencies in roles such as business analyst, IT project lead or IT director. The diploma is eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) and can lead, under certain conditions, into the Master's in Management (M. Sc.) – Digital Transformation of Organizations.

Minimum GPA:2.70 / 4.3
Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (at least 90 credits) in any field, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 on a 4.3 scale (a higher average may be required if the applicant's home institution mandates one for graduate admission). French proficiency at the intermediate-advanced level is required, demonstrated either through prior schooling or an approved French test; strong reading ability in English is recommended, as many course readings are in English.
