Veterinary Technology Anesthesia Refresher Certificate

Admission Requirements: Admission requires proof of one of three professional credentials submitted to Continuing Education, Faculty of Health Sciences: current registration as a Veterinary Technologist or Registered Animal Health Technologist in a Canadian or US jurisdiction; a degree or diploma in Veterinary Technology, Animal Health Technology, or Veterinary Nursing; or a veterinary degree (DVM or international equivalent). Applicants whose qualifying diploma or degree was issued outside a recognized English-speaking country or territory must also submit English-proficiency proof through one of Douglas College's standard options. Applicants without any of the above credentials may instead submit a resume of relevant veterinary work experience together with a letter of support from a Canadian or US DVM, which the programme reviews before acceptance.
