Overview

The Master in Telecommunications Network Engineering is a 45-credit graduate program at École de Technologie Supérieure that builds advanced knowledge in IT networking, mobile telecommunications, multimedia, and systems engineering to address challenges of reliability, speed, and accessibility in modern telecommunications. It is offered as a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), delivered in French, or as a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.), delivered in French and English. Courses are scheduled during the day, in the evening, and in some intensive formats, with full-time or part-time study available. Admission normally requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate engineering field or in computer science, obtained with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.3 or equivalent; applicants may also qualify on the basis of relevant acquired knowledge, training, and experience. Candidates admitted on the basis of English proficiency must complete an additional out-of-program French course to obtain the diploma.
