This short graduate program (programme court de 2e cycle) is a 15-credit, part-time continuing-education certificate offered by École de Technologie Supérieure for engineers and professionals seeking advanced knowledge of energy efficiency and the conversion and efficient use of renewable energy sources. The curriculum, delivered through five courses plus two mandatory workshops, builds competencies to integrate current energy technologies into organizational operations and to design less energy-intensive processes for transfer to industry. Courses run during the day, in the evening, and in some intensive formats, and the program is normally completed part-time over about seven sessions, or roughly two years and four months. Instruction is in French. Credits earned may be applied toward the Master's in Engineering with a concentration in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, or toward the corresponding DESS, giving graduates a pathway into a longer graduate credential without repeating coursework.
