Overview
This diploma builds a foundational grounding in biology, chemistry, mathematics and physics, emphasizing the principles and performance of standard laboratory practices, procedures and techniques used for biological, chemical and physical analysis. Training pairs theoretical study with hands-on use of laboratory instrumentation, and later coursework moves into advanced subjects including modern physics, molecular biology and biochemistry, alongside the professional soft skills needed in a workplace setting. The program includes a co-op placement of up to 16 months.
