Trades - Apprenticeship in Agricultural Equipment Technician - John Deere Ag Tech

Agricultural Equipment Technician - John Deere Ag Tech is an Ontario College Certificate apprenticeship offered by Fanshawe College in partnership with John Deere, combining employer-based on-the-job training with classroom instruction. The programme builds the specialized skills needed to diagnose, maintain and repair John Deere agricultural equipment, including an additional four months of training focused on current John Deere technology beyond the standard agricultural equipment technician curriculum. Admission is not through ontariocolleges.ca: applicants must first secure a sponsor/employer in the trade, then complete a registered training agreement through Skilled Trades Ontario before selecting Fanshawe for their in-class training. Graduates are equipped to service and repair John Deere tractors and harvesting equipment at John Deere dealerships and agricultural equipment service operations, combining general agricultural equipment technician competencies with manufacturer-specific diagnostic and repair skills.
