Overview
Graduates will be prepared for a variety of supply chain management roles, from entry-level to more senior positions, in service, manufacturing or government sectors, depending on prior education and work experience. Graduates will be in high demand in all functions of the supply chain positions such as buyer, purchasing assistant, logistics coordinator, inventory analyst, transportation coordinator, material planner / expediter, production planner / scheduler, operations coordinator, warehouse supervisor and supply chain manager.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires one of: a two- or three-year college diploma or a degree; an acceptable combination of related work experience and postsecondary education as assessed by the college; or five years of work experience in supply chain management judged equivalent by the college. Some applicants may be asked for a resume and cover letter detailing that experience. The program recommends prior proficiency in mathematics, business communication and common computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), though these are not admission conditions. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Fanshawe's published scale: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT overall 5 with no band below 4.5, PTE Academic 58 (minimum 50 per skill), CAEL overall 70 (minimum 60), Duolingo overall 120 (minimum 105), or an equivalent Cambridge English or LanguageCert Academic score.
