Overview

With extensive hands-on lab work and applied research projects related to CAMIIT, you will have many opportunities to gain practical, applied experience. Students in the program may also take part in Siemens Canada's Dual Education Program for Engineering and Technologist Students, an innovative work-integrated learning program that provides an educational and professional foundation for students. It includes a structured mentorship program and hands-on work experience.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Direct entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) including Grade 12 College-level (C) English and Grade 12 College-level (C) Mathematics, with a minimum final grade of 60% required in the Grade 12 C Mathematics course; Grade 12 C courses are accepted where a Grade 11 C requirement is listed, and University (U) or Mixed (M) level courses satisfy any College (C)-level requirement. A Grade 11 or 12 Physics course is recommended but not mandatory. The programme page sets no language scores of its own, so Fleming College's general English proficiency requirement applies: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with no section below 20, PTE Academic 46, or Duolingo English Test 105. Students must provide their own laptop meeting the college's stated minimum specification, plus webcam and microphone.

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for full-time programmes starting in the 2027 fall intake the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and Fleming also runs a January start; applications received after 1 February are processed first-come, first-served until programmes are full. International applicants apply via the OCAS International Application Service to the September, January or May intake and face no fixed deadline; Fleming instead recommends applying between six weeks and five months before the intended start depending on home country, and processes files on a rolling basis with offers typically issued within 5-10 business days.
