Overview

The Honours Bachelor of Digital Experience Design (G301) is a four-year degree at George Brown College's School of Design covering systems and service design, UX/UI and interaction design, human-computer interaction and usability studies, alongside artificial intelligence, applied research, business and digital technologies. Foundational courses build analytical, technical and business skills, while upper-year courses and capstone projects focus on collaborative work on digital interfaces, applications and interactive environments. A co-op work term provides industry experience, and graduates lead interdisciplinary teams across sectors such as security, transportation, education and manufacturing.

Requirements

Minimum GPA: 60.00 / %
Admission Requirements: Academic entry is an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent carrying six Grade 12 U or M courses with a combined average of 60 per cent or above including English and mathematics, with Grade 12 (U) English at 65 per cent or better and Grade 11 (U or M) or Grade 12 (U) Mathematics at 60 per cent or better. Mature applicants aged 19 or over without an OSSD need Grade 12 (U) English at 65 per cent and the mathematics credit at 60 per cent, with an overall average of 65 per cent or higher across those two courses; relevant post-secondary credits may be considered, and mature applicants must submit all academic transcripts, high school included. There is no mature admissions testing for degree credits, so the courses must be held. Meeting the minimum does not guarantee admission and higher grades may be required. International applicants should also review the country-specific admission requirements.
