Requirements

Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including Grade 12 English at the C or U level. Applicants 19 or older without an OSSD may apply as mature students and sit George Brown's Admissions Assessment for English, or upgrade to obtain the needed credit. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, and applicants may need grades above the stated minimum. College or university credits may qualify for course exemptions through the Transfer Guide. International applicants should consult George Brown's International Admissions page for country-specific academic and English-proficiency requirements. Because practical labs routinely use common allergens (nuts, dairy, shellfish) and food products may not meet Halal or Kosher dietary rules even where they meet food-safety regulations, students should plan accordingly.
