Requirements
Admission Requirements: This Ontario College Diploma requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, with Grade 12 English at the C or U level; a media presence on at least one social media channel is recommended. Applicants 19 or older without an OSSD may apply under mature-student status and meet the English requirement through the George Brown Admissions Assessment or academic upgrading; meeting the stated minimum does not guarantee a seat. The programme page carries no English-proficiency section of its own; applicants schooled outside Ontario are held to George Brown's institution-wide English Language Proficiency policy for diploma and certificate programmes, which accepts IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill band, or TOEFL iBT 80 overall with a minimum of 20 in each skill band. The single intake is in September.
