The EQUIP Uni – Academic Transfer Certificate at Heritage College and Seminary is an eight-month, campus-based program combining foundational Bible courses with general education study designed to transfer to other Christian or secular universities. Coursework includes Old and New Testament studies, hermeneutics, Christian formation, critical thinking, and ethics, alongside elective courses spanning arts, history, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, and sociology. The program grounds students in a biblical worldview while building general-education credit that can carry forward into further undergraduate study elsewhere. It runs across the fall and winter terms of a single academic year and suits students who want a Christian foundation year before transferring into a university program, rather than committing immediately to one of Heritage's full degree programs. Classes are delivered on Heritage's Cambridge, Ontario campus.
Requirements
Minimum GPA:65.00 / %
Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma applicants need a minimum 65% overall average across six Grade 12 university-preparatory courses (four at the U level, two at U or M level), with at least 60% in each eligible course and one being U-level English at 60% or above. Homeschooled applicants may qualify with a SAT score of 950/1600 or a Classic Learning Test score of 60 overall; mature applicants (21+) without a diploma face the same thresholds, and those with a diploma but short of the average may be admitted conditionally with review after two terms. Transfer applicants are assessed on official transcripts from all institutions previously attended. International applicants need TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS Academic 6.0, or CELPIP-General level 7; the college is not issuing study permits for 2026-2027, so international entry is to fall-term distance learning only.
