Requirements
Admission Requirements: The Wind Turbine Technology page requires Grade 12 or equivalent at the general level, and a resume covering work and volunteer experience. The program states applicants must be in excellent physical condition and able to participate in strenuous physical activity on elevated work platforms in adverse weather conditions. Preference is given to applicants with Grade 12 academic math and Grade 11 or 12 physics. English is the language of instruction: applicants whose first language is not English demonstrate proficiency with IELTS Academic 6.5 (no band below 6), TOEFL iBT 85, CAEL 60 (minimum 50 per band), PTE Academic 60, Duolingo English Test 120 (no section under 115) or Cambridge B2 First/C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency 176 (no band below 169), among other accepted tests; graduates of a Canadian high school who completed English 621 in P.E.I. (or its provincial equivalent) with at least 70%, or applicants with three consecutive years of full-time English-medium post-secondary study completed within two years of the program start, are exempt. The program takes a September intake at the Summerside Waterfront Campus.
