Coursework covers natural product extraction, fermentation, and bacterial and animal cell culture techniques, alongside six weeks of on-the-job training and a project-based independent research project. The program is delivered at the Prince of Wales Campus and received the 2020 Gold Program Excellence Award from Colleges and Institutes Canada. Admission requires a Grade 12 credential or equivalent with a minimum of 70% in Grade 12 academic English, biology, and chemistry, and Grade 11 or 12 academic math, along with a resume detailing work, volunteer, and extracurricular experience.
