Diploma in Techniques pharmaceutiques (accéléré)

Admission Requirements: Accelerated delivery. Domestic entry — Ontario: OSSD or a Canadian equivalent, or at 19 or over satisfactory scores of 250 in reading comprehension and 265 in numeracy; required courses Biology SBI3C or SBI3U, Chemistry SCH4C or SCH3U, Mathematics MCF3M, MCR3U or MAP4C (or the numeracy test), and French FRA3C with FRA4C or FRA3U with FRA4U. Quebec: Biology ST 055404, STE 058404 or Biologie 534, Chemistry 051504, Mathematics TS 064406, SN 065406 or Mathématique 436 (or the numeracy test), French 132406 with 132506 or 132486 with 129536. New Brunswick: Biology 53411, Chemistry 52311, Mathematics 30321B (or the numeracy test), French 10331 with 10411 or 10421. International applicants must hold a secondary-school diploma or baccalaureate, or be in their final secondary year with proof of enrolment, must have passed Biology and Chemistry, and must reach the same 250 reading and 265 numeracy scores. The Ontario College of Pharmacists requires anyone with foreign schooling or credentials to show spoken and written French or English — either three consecutive secondary French or English courses taken in Canada, including one of the French courses listed above, or a satisfactory result on the TEF, TEF Canada, TCF or TCF Canada. Admitted students sit a typing test at the start of the year: 35 words a minute is required, otherwise you must commit to reaching it before you graduate. The college also assesses any conduct that raises doubt about honest and ethical handling of medication or narcotics, on or off campus, and such conduct can lead to withdrawal from the programme. Before placements: immunisation record, current N-95, typing at 35 words a minute, a valid vulnerable-sector check carried out in the previous six months, level-C first aid and CPR-AED, and any online training the host site requires. Some physical or medical restrictions can prevent a student reaching the final learning outcomes.
