Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission to the Fine Arts Diploma requires BC Grade 12 graduation (or equivalent) for domestic applicants, or 19 years of age or older as an alternative; international applicants need BC Grade 12 graduation or equivalent. No further course prerequisites or minimum GPA are set. Applicants must also score 3 or higher on the Langara English Test (LET), or hold an approved exemption; those who do not meet this must book and pass the LET before admission. More broadly, English proficiency follows Langara's Category 2 standard: English 12 at 70%, IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band under 6.0, Duolingo English Test 110, TOEFL iBT 88 (Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking each at 20), CAEL 70 with no band under 60, or PTE Academic 56 with no skill below 55. The main full-time intake is in the Fall; part-time study over three or more years may begin in Spring or Summer. The program has limited enrolment.
