In this micro credential, you will learn creative process through communication, improvisation, collaboration, and critique. You will explore storytelling and visual literacy through precedent and history. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Langara's Creativity for Everyone micro-credential follows the college's standard Regular Studies admission requirements. Domestic applicants need BC Grade 12 graduation (or equivalent) or must be 19 years of age or older; international applicants need BC Grade 12 graduation (or equivalent). The programme carries Langara's Category 3 English Language Proficiency requirement, met by English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, or Literary Studies 12 at 50%, or by IELTS Academic 6.5, Duolingo English Test 110, TOEFL iBT 80 (Writing 20, Reading 20, Listening 18, Speaking 18), CAEL 60, PTE Academic 56, or four years of full-time study in an English-language school system. Admission does not guarantee a seat in required courses, so applicants are advised to check individual course prerequisites and submit documents to Registrar & Enrolment Services well ahead of the application deadline. The programme runs on a January intake.

International applicants use the same EducationPlannerBC portal but face fixed closing dates: 30 September 2026 for Spring 2027, 31 January 2027 for Summer 2027 and 31 May 2027 for Fall 2027. A short list of limited-enrolment programmes - Nursing, Advanced Entry BSN, Nursing Practice in Canada, Applied Science for Engineering and the Post-Degree Diploma in Data Analytics - set their own, earlier deadlines that apply to both applicant types. Admission is otherwise rolling. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
