The Canadian Studies Associate of Arts Degree is a two-year, university-transfer programme examining Canadian society, its origins, and contemporary issues. Core courses draw on faculty from multiple disciplines and cover topics including racism, changing gender roles, working life, First Nations concerns, and American influence on Canadian culture, alongside literature, history, politics, and geography. The programme is designed for students seeking a deeper understanding of Canada before transferring credits toward a bachelor's degree in Canadian Studies or a related field, or continuing into further humanities and social science study. Courses are offered full-time or part-time, with intakes in September, January, and May. As of the Fall 2025 semester, admissions to the Associate of Arts in Canadian Studies are suspended until further notice.
