Overview

This micro-credential will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to support and navigate organizational change successfully. The program focuses on developing leaders to effectively manage and guide their teams through periods of transition, ensuring smooth and positive outcomes. You will also learn the importance of communication, strategic planning, and goal setting in change management. You will learn to understand the components of comprehensive change management plans and reflect on how their role can support the change within their teams to achieve desired change outcomes. Requirements

Admission Requirements: This micro-credential has a minimum age requirement of 19. English proficiency is met by any one of: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band under 6.0; TOEFL iBT total score of 80 or higher; LEAP Level 8; BC Grade 12 English or Communications 12 (or equivalent); a post-secondary English or communications course carrying Langara transfer credit; Langara English Test (LET) Level 2; or ILAC Pathway 3.3 (Level 16, valid for two years from completion). No prior academic credential, work experience, portfolio or interview is required beyond the age and English-proficiency conditions; the programme's own admissions page states no further formal academic prerequisites.

Application Details

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through EducationPlannerBC: for the 2027 entry cycle, applications open 1 February 2026 for Spring (January) entry, 1 June 2026 for Summer (May) entry and 1 October 2026 for Fall (September) entry, then stay open with no fixed closing date until each programme fills or classes begin. International applicants use the same EducationPlannerBC portal but face fixed closing dates: 30 September 2026 for Spring 2027, 31 January 2027 for Summer 2027 and 31 May 2027 for Fall 2027. A short list of limited-enrolment programmes - Nursing, Advanced Entry BSN, Nursing Practice in Canada, Applied Science for Engineering and the Post-Degree Diploma in Data Analytics - set their own, earlier deadlines that apply to both applicant types. Admission is otherwise rolling. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
