Overview
The Graphic Design Diploma (Online) at LaSalle College Vancouver is a 16-month, fully online program that develops the ability to create visual stories, communicate ideas, and apply professional graphic design principles across digital media. The curriculum delivers learner-centred, skills-based training through interactive online coursework, progressing from visual conception, digital image processing, and vector-based content, through typographic conception and page layout, to visual communication, web page design, packaging design, and a final synthesis project, and requires no prior design experience. As the program progresses, students build and refine a portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, technical proficiency, and problem-solving skills, preparing graduates to apply graphic design fundamentals to visual communication roles across industries. The program is not eligible for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
