Cyber Security (Post-graduate) 1-Year

This Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares graduates of an IT diploma or degree for careers in cyber security. Coursework spans security, network management, analysis, programming, operating systems, cryptography, cyber and digital forensics, investigation, cloud security, penetration testing, incident response, information assurance, risk management, ethical hacking, and the use of AI in cyber security. Hands-on exercises, lab work, and real-world simulations build practical skills in protecting computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The nominal program length is two semesters of full-time study at the Belleville campus, with intakes in January and September. Admission requires a diploma or degree in Information Technology from a recognized college or university, or equivalent; applicants whose first language is not English must provide an English proficiency assessment as part of admission.
