McMaster University offers MA/MS in Physiotherapy, a master's degree in Physiotherapy programme in Hamilton, Canada. The programme runs for 2 years. Tuition for international students is CAD 28,477 per semester (CAD 3,463 per semester for local students).
The Master of Science in Physiotherapy is a professional graduate degree offered through McMaster's Faculty of Health Sciences, combining academic study with clinical education over a two-year full-time program. It is designed to prepare graduates for registration and practice as physiotherapists in Canada, with the curriculum built to meet recognized professional accreditation and practice standards for the profession. Students develop expertise in human movement and function, learning to work with people across the lifespan using a client-centred, evidence-based approach, and the program's combination of coursework and clinical education distinguishes it from purely classroom-based science master's programs. It suits students who hold an undergraduate degree and are aiming specifically at a career as a registered physiotherapist, rather than at research or an academic thesis. Typical entry is in September, and further program-specific detail is available through the physiotherapy program's own site and the university's graduate calendar, which the McMaster program page directs prospective students to for additional information.
