Overview
This thesis-based Master of Arts in Women and Gender Studies (MA WGS) is offered jointly by Mount Saint Vincent University and Saint Mary's University, with students able to work with faculty and graduate students at both institutions. The degree requires six graduate courses plus a thesis, with students working closely with a supervisor from either university to develop, research, and write a thesis on a focused topic within the field. Applications, including all letters of reference and transcripts, are normally due by February 1, and enrolment is limited by the availability of Women and Gender Studies faculty to supervise a student's proposed research area.
