This four-year honours bachelor's degree, delivered over nine terms by Niagara College's School of Business and Management, prepares students to plan and lead human resources functions from both a strategic and day-to-day operational perspective. Coursework spans core HR areas such as recruitment, training, compensation, labour relations, occupational health and safety, and HR consulting, with content aligned to the requirements for the Certified Human Resources Professional and Certified Human Resources Leader designations. The program includes a co-op work term and regular engagement with industry through guest speakers, alumni, and events run with the Human Resources Professionals Association and its Niagara chapter. It is based at the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus. Graduates of the college's Business Administration - Human Resources (Co-op) diploma can receive advanced standing toward the degree, allowing them to complete both credentials on an accelerated timeline. The program suits students aiming for HR generalist or management careers who want a business degree built specifically around human resources practice, supported by co-op experience and ties to professional HR bodies.
