Admission Requirements: This program is open to domestic applicants only, and there is no separate admission gate to enrol: eligibility is governed by the prerequisites of the individual transfer courses a student registers for, which are met by submitting transcripts or completing English and/or Math placement assessments as each course requires. No standardized English-language test score is set by the program itself. Courses span Business, Computer Science and Information Technology, Digital Design, English, Fine Arts, Humanities, Mathematics, Science, and Social Sciences, run in 4-month terms across Fall, Winter, and Spring, with locations varying by term; applicants apply through EducationPlannerBC. Admission otherwise follows North Island College's general domestic requirement of secondary-school graduation (or equivalent) or being at least 18 during the year of study, and eligible Canadian citizenship, permanent residence, protected-person/refugee status, or permission to study in Canada.

Application Deadline:North Island College's domestic applications open at the beginning of October each year for the following academic year; unlimited-entry programmes admit on a rolling, first-come-first-served basis with deadlines effectively at the term start (September 1, January 1 or May 1), while limited-entry programmes close earlier: the last Monday of August for a September start, the third Friday of December for a January start. International applicants apply through EducationPlannerBC; for the current cycle NIC has published deadlines of 1 May 2026 for September 2026 entry and 31 August 2026 for January 2027 entry, with no later 2027 intake deadline yet posted. Admission is otherwise rolling until seats fill. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
