Admission Requirements: This program is open to domestic applicants only. Entry requires a personal interview with an instructor, and applicants must be an individual with an identified developmental or mental health challenge; no standardized academic grades or English-language test scores are set. Specific streams carry their own further conditions: Employment Transition Grounds and Custodial Assistant requires an identified executive-functioning challenge and full attendance of a 27-week cohort at NIC; Employment Transition Kitchen Assistant requires a functional kitchen assessment; Practical Academics for the Workplace requires a pass in 10 credits spanning literacy, numeracy, and computer-literacy courses; and Workplace Professionalism requires a documented cognitive or mental health disability.
