Overview

This higher diploma's wildlife rehabilitation stream is delivered in semesters five and six, forming a third year of study that builds directly on a completed two-year Veterinary Technician program spanning semesters one through four, so students enter the specialisation with that foundation already in place.

Minimum GPA: 60.00 / %
Admission Requirements: Domestic admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma with Grade 12 English (C or U), Grade 12 Math (C or U) or Grade 11 U/M, Grade 12 Chemistry (C or U) or Grade 11 U, and Grade 11 Biology (C or U), with a minimum 60% GPA across all required prerequisite courses; equivalent qualifications are accepted and Academic Upgrading is available at no cost. International applicants must also provide proof of a senior high school diploma and meet English proficiency with one of: IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 79, PTE Academic 58+, or Duolingo 105+. A CO-OP Work Permit is mandatory for this program to participate in unpaid program placements.
