Cert in Veterinary Assistant

Admission Requirements: Domestic admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, Grade 12 English (C or U), and Grade 11 Biology (C or U), or equivalent; missing prerequisites can be completed free through Academic Upgrading. International applicants must also provide proof of a senior high school diploma/certificate and meet English proficiency with one of: IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 79, PTE Academic 58+, or Duolingo 105+. A CO-OP Work Permit is mandatory to participate in unpaid program placements. Applicants must complete a rabies vaccine series or titre test, at their own expense, before the program starts; word processing proficiency is recommended, and prior veterinary clinic or hospital experience is considered an asset.
