Offered by Okanagan College in Kelowna, Canada, Civil Engineering Technology Diploma is a diploma in Information Systems & Technology programme. The programme runs for 2 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 72,189 per total (CAD 13,700 per total for local students).
This diploma examines civil engineering practice and urbanization within a Canadian context, covering the technologist's role in designing and constructing infrastructure such as water supply and sewage networks, treatment plants, dams, drainage and irrigation systems, parks and subdivisions, and highways, streets, bridges and buildings. Field trips reinforce classroom theory and help develop practical approaches to solving engineering problems, and the program holds national accreditation from the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board.
