This program leads to a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Educational Studies with a specialization in Adult Learning with Technology over four years, delivered as a hybrid of online and in-person courses at the Downtown Oshawa campus. Coursework covers foundations of adult learning, workplace learning, managing and developing e-learning projects, working with clients and partners, and trends in educational technology, requiring completion of four specialization courses alongside the core Educational Studies program. The program develops skills in creating digital learning tools, assessment for learning, and equity, diversity and inclusion, preparing students to facilitate adult education in workplaces, non-profit organizations, government and higher education, and to support institutions moving toward hybrid or fully online delivery. Graduates can pursue further study in the university's Master of Education program. Students interested in also becoming a certified teacher can apply concurrently to the Concurrent Education admission stream.
