The Automotive Engineering programs at Ontario Tech University offer a Master of Applied Science (MASc) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) option, both providing a detailed understanding of advanced technologies and processes related to automotive systems. The MASc prepares students for research, development and advanced engineering careers through coursework, supervised research, a research seminar and a research thesis. The MEng allows working engineers to upgrade and expand their skills through either coursework combined with a project or a fully course-based option. Both programs are delivered in-class at Ontario Tech University. The MASc runs approximately 24 months full-time with September, January or May starts, while the MEng runs approximately 16 months full-time with September or January starts. Admission to either option requires a four-year honours undergraduate engineering degree from an accredited program, or its equivalent, with a minimum B average, with a B+ preferred for MASc applicants.
