BA/BS in English Writing

The Bachelor of Arts in English Writing at Redeemer University develops students' writing and communication skills across multiple genres through the study of published writers alongside their own creative and critical work. Classes are run in a small seminar format with peer review and critical analysis, progressing from foundational reading and writing courses to specialized courses in fiction, journalism, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Faculty include published authors who lead workshop-style courses. The program is offered as an honours major, a general major, or a minor. Graduates pursue careers in writing, editing, journalism, and teaching, or continue to graduate study in related fields.
