Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma including Grade 12 English (ENG4C), or mature student status; missing prerequisites can be completed free through Academic Upgrading. Applicants must submit completed medical forms and pass a Vulnerable Sector Check. International applicants and those whose prior study was not in English must meet the college's general Diploma and College Certificate standard: IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 79-80 with no test score below 20, PTE Academic 60 with no communicative skill below 52, or Duolingo English Test 110 with no band below 105. The three-semester, 42-week Ontario College Diploma begins in September 2027.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for programmes starting in September 2027, the application system opens on 26 September 2026 and the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, after which qualified applications are assessed first-come, first-served until seats are full; Sault College publishes no equal-consideration date of its own, and neither OCAS nor the college states a separate date for the January 2027 intake. International applicants apply directly to Sault College rather than through ontariocolleges.ca; the college states only that applications are reviewed within five business days of submission and publishes no fixed opening or closing date for international admission. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
