Requirements

Admission Requirements: This is an Ontario College Diploma, so entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature-applicant status, plus Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 12 mathematics (C or U) or Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U), or equivalent courses. Canadian citizens and permanent residents may clear the English and/or mathematics prerequisite through Seneca's own pre-admission test, and Seneca recommends upgrading for applicants short of other academic subject requirements. International applicants must meet Seneca's institution-wide standard for diploma and advanced diploma programs (senecapolytechnic.ca English requirements page): IELTS Academic 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT with no skill score below 20, PTE Academic 58, Duolingo 105-110, or CAEL 60; Canadian citizens and permanent residents may instead clear the requirement through Seneca's own pre-admission test. No portfolio, interview or work-experience requirement is stated; international applicants may be asked for further documents on a country-specific basis.
