Diploma in Library and Information Technician (Accelerated) (Hybrid)

Admission Requirements: Applicants must first meet the standard Library and Information Technician (LIT) admission requirements, then show completed postsecondary study: an Ontario university or college degree or equivalent, an Ontario college diploma or equivalent, or at least two years of successfully completed postsecondary credits. Applicants with credentials from outside Canada must submit a course-by-course credential assessment from a recognised agency such as WES or ICAS and demonstrate postsecondary English equivalency. Neither the accelerated program's own page nor its admission-requirements page states an IELTS, TOEFL or other numeric language-test score, or a minimum grade average; the page directs applicants wanting full detail to Seneca's recruitment office. Per Seneca's institution-wide policy a formal English test is asked of domestic applicants only when prior study in English cannot otherwise be shown, and international applicants are referred to the university's own published English-requirements page.
